I bought this tablet mainly to read Google books but was disappointed. So many apps will not run on this machine! i guess it has a MIPS processor that really limits what apps will work and what can be downloaded from Google market. The hardware, I have to say, is amazing, but if the software does not work, who cares? This machine is really made for the China market. Here is a short list of what does and does not work:
Works:
Some HD games, Angry Birds, Amazon Books (Kindle for Android), Google Maps, Email, Limited apps on Market, HD Spider Man game, Slacker Radio, Doodle Jump, Music
Does not work:
Google Voice, Google+, Gallery (Photos linked to Google server), Google Books, Google Currents, Finance, Reader
All of these apps would download, but NONE of them will open and work.
In short, more important stuff does not work than other stuff that does.
Summmary: Do not buy unless you are buying just for games, music and Kindle for Android, or to read word or pdf files. Does not work with major Google software.
